Leslie Dare – I am a graduate of NC State (’93, ’99) and began working at the university in 1989, retiring in 2019. I started playing guitar and joining bluegrass jams in 2015, and also play bass and mandolin. Wolfpack Pickers is a great way to combine two things I love – bluegrass and the Wolfpack!

Susan West – I am an NC State graduate (‘85) and have worked at the university since 1985. Like so many people, I stepped away from playing music after high school and college, and bluegrass has offered me a path back to what I love — playing music with other people. I started playing mandolin about 6 years ago and I’ve been playing bass for about 6 months. I’m very excited to get Wolfpack Pickers up and running.
